Why Lorenzo's

Why Choose Us

Six reasons homeowners across Indianapolis, Fishers, Carmel, Greenfield and the northeast side keep calling us back.

Trees Are the Trade

Removal, trimming, pruning, stumps and storm work are what we do every day — climbed and rigged properly, cut at the collar, never topped.

We Haul Everything

Brush chipped, logs loaded, leaves and clippings on the trailer, the drive blown off. The job is finished when we leave, not when the city pickup comes.

Honest, Up-Front Pricing

Free estimates and a written price before any work starts. If a tree only needs a trim, we say so instead of selling you the removal.

Open Six Days, 7 to 7

Monday to Saturday, 7 AM – 7 PM. Early enough to beat the summer heat, late enough to look at a job after you get home.

Landscaping Too

Shrubs, beds, mulch, edging, planting, cleanups and mowing from the same crew that did the trees — one number to call for the whole yard.

Storm Calls Come First

A tree on the house or across the drive goes to the top of the list. We make it safe, clear it, and take out the hangers left behind.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

We're based on the far east side of Indianapolis (46235) and work across the northeast side of the metro — McCordsville, Cumberland, Greenfield, Maxwell, Fortville, Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, Westfield, Zionsville, Meridian Hills and Rocky Ripple, plus the neighborhoods in between. If you're not sure whether you're in range, call and ask.

Tree work first: removal, trimming, pruning, dead branch removal, stump grinding, stump removal, root removal and storm cleanup. Then the rest of the yard: shrub trimming, brush removal, yard cleanup, leaf cleanup, mulch installation, edging, planting, lawn mowing and hauling. One crew does all of it, and we take everything away when we're done.

It depends on the size of the tree, what's underneath it, and how it has to come down. A small tree in an open yard is a quick job; a sixty-foot silver maple over a house that has to be roped down in pieces is not. We come out, look at it, and give you a written price before any work starts. Estimates are free, and the stump is priced separately so you can decide on it.

Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We start early because summer tree work is best done before the heat, and we run late so we can look at a job after you get home from work.

Yes — 10% off your next project. It applies to returning customers and to friends and neighbors they send our way. Most of our work comes from someone seeing a yard we just finished and asking who did it, so we'd rather reward that than spend it on advertising.

If the tree is healthy and the problem is clearance, shade or a few dead limbs, trim it. If the trunk is hollow, the tree is dead or mostly dead, it's split at a major fork, it's leaning more every year, or it's an ash the borer has got to, removal is usually the honest answer. We'll tell you which it is — including when the answer is the cheaper one for you.

Grinding chews the stump into chips six to twelve inches below the surface, in about an hour, and you can seed or sod over it. Removal digs the whole stump and root ball out of the ground. Grinding is right for almost every stump; removal is for when a patio, a driveway, a foundation or a new tree is going exactly where the stump is.

Yes, always. Brush is chipped or loaded, logs are cut and hauled or stacked as firewood if you want them, leaves and clippings go on the trailer, and the lawn and driveway are raked and blown off. The job is finished when we leave, not when the city pickup comes.

That's a priority for us. Call and tell us what fell and what it's on — a tree on the house, the garage or the driveway goes to the top of the list. We get it off and make the property safe first, then cut, chip and haul what's down, take out the hangers left in the crown, and give you the documentation your insurance adjuster asks for.

Late winter, when the tree is dormant and you can see the structure, is best for most pruning — and it's the only safe window for oaks, which can pick up oak wilt from cuts made between April and July. Dead limbs, clearance trimming and storm damage can be done any time. Shrubs depend on when they flower; we'll tell you when to book each one.
